Hello Everyone!

Today we are going to prep a dinner meal that will make us just as strong as Popeye. After a long day of school or work our bodies are not only simple exhausted but they lacking in energy as well. Logically we need to give them a back what they have provided us with for the whole day.
A good meal in many means I find are noodles. Not only because they are cheap and easy and quick to make but they contain a lot of nutrients, carbs that give us power, make us function again.

So I thought to myself how can I prepare a meals that won't get actually boring and lacking in variety but is really quick and easy and contains the energy that I strive for?
We will need a kind of sauce or cream that is good to combine with all sort of cards like pasta, rice or bread. Pesto. And because I am not interested in the always present red pasta tomato sauces I am going to a lovely spinach pesto, homemade and so easy and quick it wouldn't really count as food prepping. But here we go!
Ingredience
  • 4 cups spinach, washed and roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup whole blanched almonds
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1 Tbs. nutritional yeast (optional)
Insttructions
In a food processor and pulse all ingredients until pesto is smooth with a bright-green hue. Serve with crudités, breadsticks, or as a sauce for pasta, pizza, or steamed vegetables.

Just like I said before this pesto fits to any source of carbs so you would only have to take the ten to 15 minutes in the evening to prepare a potato, pasta, rice or but some bread sticks and your good to go as well as gave your body something organic and precious nutrients.

I hope you liked it and that you will actually try the recipe. Until next time!
