I believe there are plenty of youngsters out there that are vegan. Yet there is the rumor out there that it is too expensive. While that isn't true because most of fruit and veg are way cheaper than the odd frozen Pizza or a ready meal. There are also other options that are cheap, easy and quick and vegan as well! One of the go to meals of students are noodles. I have a very lovely meal of noodles that fits all the categories. The sausages I bought were half priced and cost 1,50 €, a pack noodles 50 cents as well as the sauce. I you do like you cheese with it add another 4 €. So your moving between 2,50 and 6,50 bucks. And you could always cook more for store it for another three days. However lets get into the recipe
All you'll need are probably vegan sausages or other vegan meat if you prefer or non at all
noodles and vegan tomato sauce
Cut the sausages
And fry them. Also boil some water and add in the noodles and cook them with salt and a bit of olive oil for 10 minutes.
At the end you sausages should look like this
when the noodles are done just add the sausages to the noodles as well as the tomato sauce.
If you like add some cheese :)
This is how the finished meal looks like. Not the greatest because now looking at it looks similar to worms but it tasted seriously great.
The recipe is simple and took me about 15 minutes all together. And most importantly it is your main source of carbs which is what one need going to school, Uni or work. It is filling, giving one the energy needed and satisfaction wanted. You should try it, it's great.
