Hello Everyone! 

Here is the second part of my little beauty haul and I actually was really amazed by how much you guys loved the first part so I hope you will like this post just as much! 

This time my products are all vegan and cruelty free which makes me feel a bit better about myself because none had to die for me. I don't know, I like that I can also contribute into making a change in the world even if it's just a little one but with every person thinking like this an actual movement develops and as a final result there will hopefully happen something wonderful.

I am a perfectionist so as soon as I need a new product, I need the whole line so it will look need and all same coloured. And this is what happened. But I needed quite a few products such a s hair spray, lotion etc. 

I was at a german drugstore called DM and the line I bought it from is the natural cosmetic line "Alverde". It's really affordable and they have a lot of different options in smells of course, very simple packaging that makes me personally trust them a lot more. There is not so much drama, it seems down to earth. Most importantly though it's that it's cruelty free like I said in the intro. But here we go! 

So there I all the products again and I bought a whole hair line. Shampoo, conditioner and a hair mask. Then I had some body lotion and hair mousse. 

Hair products 

I have been using the products for two weeks now and I have to say I am not disappointed. They are not life changing nor are they very special. The thing that I like about them is that they are filled with a lot of good and healthy, natural ingredients such as avocado and chia butter that is supposed to strengthened your hair and because of glycerin from plants it also very hydrating. The whole range is for dry and brittle, thin hair. Now another important factor about hair or body products is the scent for me and these product smell very natural, not chemical and smooth but fresh as well. There is no artificial hint whatsoever that I could find which just makes me think positive. Also it is without any silicones. 

I found myself noticing my hair getting a lot better over the last months which is probably a result of using natural cosmetic to look after myself. It really makes a difference I promise you this.

I really need to use more body lotion because my skin has gotten so dry and it's seriously not nice. On the good side though of hitting rock bottom is rising, seeing life coming back and see things regenerating. So as a first step to do myself something good again I chose the cocoa butter- hibiscus body lotion which smells like summer and winter in one. It starts with a fruity smell and logically finishes with the soft smell of the ever so lovely cocoa butter. It's a whole heart warming scent we have here. 

The lotion itself is of course for dry skin. She lotion gives the skin hydration with its organic plant glycerin and protects it with the help of organic sunflower oil. 

As for what i have noticed is that my skin really has gotten smoother and the after shave effect on my legs are like night and day. I love it and actually starting to like using a lotion again.

Mousse and hairspray

I need a mousse because I let my hair dry without a blowdryer and to avoid the fluff and puff and light curls and waves I use a pump of mousse so I won't have to fight against that unwanted stuff with too much heat after washing and drying it. So I have bought the mousse with lotus flower extracts and purple rice. It gives my hair a lot of volume which surprised me a lot. My hair is really long and thin so it was quite a change to have some centrifugal force in them. My hair stayed in place even during the night and I just needed so use heat to sort it out more for only 4 minutes instead of the usual 12-15 minutes which is all I could ask for.

I am not the one that uses hairspray everyday but still I need it for the really rare moments in my life where I have a need top knot or some up- does. As I want to wear those more often during my longer school days I wanted a product that makes things staying in place but vegan. Alright I only used it once so far so this review is not much accountable but hey. 

The bottle promised a normal hold which I found rather positive because my hair still felt softer and silkier or not so sticky as known of strong holding products. The hair seemed to have a little natural glow and looked more lively, still healthy. 

All over I have had a positive experience with it thought it does not hold the whole day. I'd give it a good six hours before the hair seems to get the better of the situation. Last but not least, there is no artificial smell! Yet, it is worth buying it surely.

 My overall experience ..

.. with the line Alverde and the products I bought is very positive. They are vegan, they are of natural ingredients, keep their promises, smell wonderfully and do not harm your body or hair in any ways as far as I have noticed.

I hope you found this post helpful or I could turn you into trying a natural cosmetic line as Alverde might not be available everywhere. Yet, there are many natural cosmetic lines out there which I am going to introduce to you as well very soon. However, you can maybe buy them as nature is nature and will probably have the same effects. What I can say for sure though is that I am much happier with the organic cosmetics I have bought than the chemical brands I used before.

Hello Everyone! 

So I have made it through the first two days of school and I have to say it's been a good two days. I have enjoyed being with my friends again, learning things. But I believe one takes it differently with the knowledge that this really is the last time you will do this routine in our life.

However, back to the "Back- to- school- series. Todays topic is hairstyles. I have found this wonderful video of 15 quick and really easy hairstyles on YouTube by Laura Lee. I have just recently found her and think she does a wonderful job in this on and I can identify myself with these hairstyles a lot. I have tried some of them as well but I thought I spare you my "advice" as I am a hairstyling beginner as well and just share of what I think is great and works really good. So if you have made it down here you will have the wonderful experience of me trying to, well do my hair. Have fun! 

So this is all I used for my hair styles. 

1. A black head band from H&M 

2. A another red head band with a bow in the front from primark

3. A daisy hair band from H&M 

4. Some pins of course

5. A middle sized hair donut from the DM drugstore (german brand) 

This is my version of a messy bun and I quite like it and I think with some more practise I'll be able to improve that one.

This one was really very easy and I think it looks just too cute to be true. I felt like a 12 year old again. But anyways I love it and I think I'll do that one more often as it's just a 20 second thing and looks different compared to plain open hair. 

My need and clean bun. I used the middle sized donut and the daisy flower hair band and some pins and it actually took me only 5 minutes. I don't know if that is too long for a hairstyle as easy as this one but I liked the finish and 5 minutes, I think I can spare them in the morning.

It looked really lovely and elegant. Something I really consider doing if wearing one of my more chic and business- like outfits.

For this one I used my black lace head band from H&M and seriously. It ridiculously easy once you have figured out how to do it even with longer hair. It looks rather messy in my pictures but I tried it some more times and that finish looked better. 1 minute tops and you look very girlish and cute once again! 

As I saw that hairstyle on Laura Lee I was amazed how beautiful she looked. I fell in love with it and had to try but didn't think with my thin hair I would be able to do it. But somehow I made it and even though it's not as voluminous as hers it doesn't look too bad, does it? I like it for sure and the big ass messy bun is not far from this one as well so jackpot I'd say. 

Yea, I hope you liked her video as well as my tries. I will definitely improve my skills more, hopefully post more hairstyles here as well as I learned a lot and enjoyed doing them, creating them, doing something with my hair. 

But once more I am just really happy that a simple pony tail is just as fashionable right now as this amazing and really easy hairstyles.

Hello Everyone! 

So here's a post I have been wanting to write for a very long time and did a fair bit of research on as well.

I will introduce 5 Top hairstyles for the upcoming spring season to you and for some I did my own part trying them out as well.

Long Tails

If either up for a more serious looking look or down for the cooler and looser version. Long pony tails are absolutely in trend next season. I favor the looser version at the moment because it's super quick, easy yet stylish and elegant. Something for a girl at the age of 20- something. Also a plus is that you have so many versions of wearing them! 

             

Braids & Twists

Of cours we also get a bit more creative than with the lazy hair styles. Here is something for all the women who love the get their energy out on there hair. Braids and twists are very well seen this season. If french, dutch, chinese. Up or down, side braids, whatever. You can get all creative and arty on your hair.

Here are a few I came up with: 

Buns:

Yaay, this is a hairstyle of my kind of taste! Again we can still have our buns. They seem never to get out of style and always seem to fit in whatever you do. If you do the clean option of a cut or the loose, messy version. What is new though is that they do not have to look perfect or wanted imperfect. It simply is enough to just undo them when you wash your face in the morning. Done, and I am loving it.

Here one of my hairstyles. A needer one with some excitement. Very elegant I think.

Out Of The Water

A hairstyle that is not my piece of the cake but still seen a lot on the runways. Seeing it from the positive side, of your running late and still need to have a shower, you can come looking like this, saying it is wanted (nobody will ever know you weren't able to blow dry your hair)

Bombshell Blow- Out

Even though I think that none of us needs to put much work into this one, because we are al bombshells already, aren't we? Anyways, if it's a 60- yes or 90- yes blow- out. Immediate associations to me are Marylyn Monroe or Heide Klum. This is what we are looking for. 

Mixed Material

Something I adore! I am just going to name a few items you can put into your hair: head bands, flowers, bands, pins with pearls on them or feathers. Anything you find really, girls just put it in your hair. Make it stand out, play a little. Don't forget that crunchies are having a comeback, so be sure to get on of those bad guys as well and - put it in your hair!

I really hope I could give a bit of inspiration or hair style ideas. I had a lot of fun trying out some of the braids and enlighten my knowledge of hairstyles. Have a lovely day!

The days are really hot here at the moment so of course people are sweating 27/7, even on the head. I can't wash my hair everyday without damaging it more and more so I was looking for a dry shampoo the other day. And after an hour looking I found one. I also ordered another one as soon as I got home but for now this will have to do. 

This is a dry shampoo from a german brand called Balea and a nature product. It only cost 1,50 Euros so I won't expect wonders but from previous experience on other products they make I strongly believe it won't be shitty.

In the end I am still happy to have found one because now my hair won't look like a bear around his eggs when I get up :)

I heard that after a certain time our hair and skin gets used to all the products we use and we don't see the desired results. So I like to change my products from time to time. I got really happy and excited as I saw that Pantene Pro V has brought out a new collection with exactly what I was looking for.

It's the Keratin Repair Collection you can see in the photo. I haven't bought all of it (yet) I just wanted to see how my hair is going to respond to it. 

I have really dry hair and it has also gotten very thin as I let it grow longer. I always knew that I needed more nutrients, especially keratin because obviously I haven't so much of it in my daily diet as I should have. And because I don't want to cut my hair so much any time soon I thought I could help.

So as an end result of this I am really happy. My hair seems to be a bit healthier and stronger and it's not as dry anymore. Also, coming with the "strength" it appears to be more voluminous which is what I always wanted. 

Only thing negative is the price. I use up my hair products rather fast as I have pretty long hair so I find almost 7 Euros for each, Shampoo and Conditioner quite a lot. But there are always more expensive products out there I know so it's not heart breaking.

Nonetheless, everyone who needs some more keratin and wants to improve their hair by also helping with fitted products and not only through eating (which would be a yummy alternative) should try it. It helped me and I think I will rebuy it until I need another change up. Because I rather have empty pockets than an empty head. :)
