It is time a little make-up haul I decided. As always I am on the look for any vegan make up I can find, also I seasons are changing once again and I wanted something new and different. And well, bad news first, I did buy a couple of non vegan products from caprice but it's only three items. However three items to many. On the bright side I have finally found a good vegan foundation, fitting powders, a brush, an eyebrow pen and two lipsticks!

So above you can see the entire haul I wish you fun reading and I hope you can find some products for yourself! After I have tried it new stuff for a while (2-4 weeks) I will give a proper review and some tutorials for autumn.

This are my new members of the vegan foundation "stuff" I have found and they are all from "Alverde" which is a german natural make- up line. Meaning that they are all produced without chemicals and they are all cruelty free.

All the products that are made in Germany are animal cruelty free because that is a law here. I am very proud to be a german for that reason.

As a liquid foundation I have bought the "Colour and Care 2 in 1 make up in number 20 caramel & cream. It combines a light make up and a day cream in one. The product consists of organic jojoba oil and organic chia butter. It can already say that the lightness of it is breathtaking, it does not seem like I wore any and it felt very freshening.

Second product is the compact powder in number 030 beige. I cannot say anything clear yet but it does fit to the make up itself and makes the skin even in it's tone. Any redness and little spots are not to be seen anymore. But you need quit a lot as the brush does not take as much of it.

Number three is the shimmer rough powder in number 10 Secret Rose to lighten up my face, give it some healthy colouring and a little mysterious shimmer. It does smell like roses, and it sure does the job. I am literally in love with it. It makes my morning and I am wearing it proudly. I definitely can recommend this already. I always have been very satisfied by the roughs of Alverde, I must say.

This product dimly make your cheeks glow.

My next product is one of the non vegan products I have bought. This is the Catrice cosmetics palette "absolute Rose" number 10 named Frankie Rose To Hollywood. We have six different rose to violet shades in there, three of them are matte (1;2;5) and three of them high pigmented (3;4;6). There is a big variety, you can create a nice nude look as well as a heavier autumn look which is why I like all of their palettes a lot. They do not cost much 5 € tops and you get a lot of them. I also have the nude and chocolate palette and I knew that this would not be a product I won't like. The eyeshadows fit perfectly in the autumn theme and I really am in love with the violet tones at the moment.

Moving on to the eyebrow pencil from Alverde again in number 020. I have quit dark eyebrows even though my hair tends to be on the blonder side (even if not coloured) I have to say it really easy to use and you get a brush on the other side as well so tame your brows before. I just recently started using eyebrow pencil and cannot say too much as I am still experimenting but I couldn't go without it anymore.

I also bought a new brush with is also from a german brand called DM. It is very fluffy and I love, love, love it. It so easy to use and does not hurt my skin like the other brush I had before. Also the finish looks so natural and light, no hard lines what so ever. It was life changing. Plus it's animal cruelty free.

Now we are talking lipsticks. I have bought two one is from Alverde (the green one) and the black one is from DM.

Alverde first, it is number 28 "Deep Violet" and is a nice berry tone, very natural looking and very fitting for some dark, dramatic autumn lips. It does not stay on too long, you would have to redo your lip once or twice as it kept on sticking on my tea pots like a pro. But I love it anyways.

The other lipstick is from DM like mentioned before. It's the ultra matte lipstick, number 090 matte. And this one is really bright compared to the Alverde one but it lasted literally all day long without disappointing. Never seen that before and I am really amazed. It was so fast and easy to put on, like in 5 seconds and I was ready to go. I surely recommend this lipstick to theo new who like their dramatic dark red lips a lot and all day long!

Now the last two non vegan eyeshadow palletes are from caprice again and they just arrived. I am talking about the Trio Deluxe Eyeshadow number 030 Rose Vintage. It contains three eyeshadows, a light one, and two darker ones. As you can see in my swatches, they are really high pigmented and create a lot of drama in your face so definitely something you'd want to wear to a party or out for dinner, not in school.

I will create a tutorial with it as I am amazed by the quality of it and caprice has never disappointed me in the past.

And last but not least we have another Catrice pallet, the other Trio Deluxe Eyehsadow pallet number 010 Antique C'est Trés Chic and this time we have all the brown shades and it is not as dark as the other pallet so we might be able to wear it during the day time as well. As the other paler its highly pigmented and very bright. With this pallet I sure will create a fitting say- time autumn look as well.

Let's Talk Beauty: Make- up Review - Vegan Try

So it's been a while on the make- up front on my blog but changes into the vegan lifestyle I figured I should change my make- up as well. So I went and bought a natural foundation and the fitting powder to it as well as some make- up remover pads. I am using vegan make up remover for quite a while now and I am really happy with it but I rather prefer pads, so I went with them.

So the items I am going to talk about today are the as well as the natural cosmetic powder form Alterra and the Rival de Loop Make- up remover pads.

Alterra is a german brand so you might won't be able to purchase it in the first place.

24h Fresh Make- up foundation from Alterra

So I got the 2 in 1 make- up and care foundation in the colour medium and although I felt really refreshed with it the foundation itself felt like wearing a mask on my face that didn't quite fit. It covered really well I must admit and my skin looked healthy even with it. Another plus is the smell, it smelled amazingly. Like roses and not chemistry which I thought was a really find touch. It had like a natural glow. It's consistency is really sick and I didn't like that it is a tube. Also because it was mask- like is had lighter spots as soon as I accidentally touched my face.

So in the end of the day I would not recommend this foundation as it is (even though it's all natural) it is not "real". I want to look natural as well and I want my make- up to be in my face not on my clothes and hands. This is the main reason as to why I am not going to buy this product again

natural cosmetic powder form Alterra

This product I am also not sure about, if it is just because of the reason of combination with the foundation but it also left marks all over my clothes. It covered really well though and it was really easy to put on as well. No problem at all. I think I will continue using it but just for the summer where my skin is actually in a medium colour but I am not too convinced of it to be buying it again. Just because of the spotty and mark leaving fact. This is a huge issue for me and therefore the product does not fulfill its purpose in coverage despite the lovely smell as well.

Rival de Loop Make- up remover pads

Of this I have tried both, the pads and the little towel thingies. Although I am not a fan of the towel thingies because I find them annoying to use because you cannot use one twice and therefore spend more money than on the pads. Also you get fewer than with those pads. Well despite this, I found the towel thingies much more refreshing and cooling. But the make- up was a bit harder to remove than with the pads. I had a scrub my face more, especially my lashes witch cause a lot of lashes to be honest. It does its job though. But my life was to become easier when I bought the pads two weeks ago. They are really oily and senseless but they do the works really fine and I am happy with the end result. So this is all that counts. The pads themselves are smaller than the previous used bebe ones and much more thinner. So there is more in the package but you cannot reuse a pad also.

I will buy this one again though as I am happy with it.

Rival de Loop is not organic or vegan. In fact it "only" doesn't try their product out on animals and cares for animal rights which is fair enough for me.

So I hope you found this review somewhat helpful. And all I can say at this point is that even though all the products are really cheap (around 3 € each), sometimes spending a bit more money on beauty products really evaluates quality which is what I am looking for at the end.

L'Oréal Paris - Diamond Edition Review

Hello Everyone!

I bought a bit of Make-up and wanted to share and review.

I just couldn't resist and it has been a while for me since I last bought something for my face.

This is what made my fingers were itching for. It's the L'Oréal Paris Christmas Diamond Edition.

They have brought out a new eyeshadow palette and two Mascaras that come together.

Here we have the palette. It's the Luminous "Trésors Cachés" P2.

It consists out of four colour: Gold, Green, Wine Red and dark Bue.

I thing pretty much you can use this palette four a dramatic eye make-up in the winter time. You can combine colours the way you like or make it all smokey or just use the lighter colours if you do not want to be a drama queen.

I have tested them during last week and what I can say is that is covers really good and long. It literally stays until the next morning. The colours are intense which I find the best. You won't need much on your brush to get an affect.

Only bad thing is found is that I mix green and red, the red turns kind of grey-ish. So they do not mix really well and you have no base, it is all very glittery. You might not like it as much if you don't like to sparkle a little.

For me it's great, I love it and this is my go to palette for the Christmas time for sure!

I then actually wanted to rebuy my Manga mascara but chose these two instead. Also because I was curious what the other mascara did to my lashes.

For what I can say they do put a lot of volume onto my lashes, I was able to notice a difference as well as feel it. My lashes instantly felt heavier and thicker. I then opened the other mascara and it is basically liquid glitter. You cover it after you applied the actual mascara and after you are officially a human being with voluminous glittery lashes. Great for a party or the theatre, somewhere you need to dress up but not for school.

In the end I can say that I do not regret the purchases because they are great for the upcoming celebrations that winter brings with it. They may not be a good choice for your school or work days, except you are like me and don't care.

They cover a lot, they hold what they promise and they are not too pricy as they are drugstore products.

TAGGY TUESDAY: Make-up TAG

Hello Everyone!

I found a TAG a couple of weeks ago and I forgot the name but obviously it's a make-up Tag.

Before I get started and make my way through the jungle of questions I wish you good fun reading!

How many times do you wash your face daily?

Usually twice, in the morning and at night. Sometimes I can't be bothered in the evening- shame on me..

-What skin type do you have? (dry,oily,combo)

I'd say combination. It can be oily and it can be dry.

-What is your current facial wash?

Neutrogena Visibly Clear - Lemon & Mandarin

and in combination (if I feel either green or pink ;) )

L'Oréal Paris - Hydra Active 3

-Do you exfoliate?

No I don't. Maybe I should but I am happy if I make it to wash my face.

-What brand do you use?

None then....

-What moisturizer do you use?

The L'Oréale Paris Hydra Active 3 moisturizer

-Do you have freckles?

No. But I'd love to have some since I can remember. In kindergarden I started crying because I was the only one who didn't have them which was so frustrating because I wanted them so badly and everyone had them but me.

-Do you use eye cream?

No I don't. I am still 20 ...

-Do you or did you have acne prone skin?

I used to have them a little but when I was 14/ 15 but it has calmed down immensely now, like not at all do I have acne anymore.

-Did you ever have to use Pro-activ?

No.

MAKE-UP

-What foundation do you use?

Maybelliene Fit Me in 120 :) I have used for two years now and I am happily married to it by now. We have an intense and close relationship.

-How about concealer?

Maybelliene Fit Me concealer as well.

-What do you think of fake eyelashes?

They're pretty but I don't need them unless I am going to a girls night out which I hardly do :)

-Did you know that you are supposed to change your mascara every 3 months?

Yes I did.. but I mine get emptied before that anyways.. or I change them intentionally

-What brand of mascara do you use?

I loved the L'Oréal Manga mascara but right now I have the Diamond Edition mascaras one which I will review tomorrow.

-Sephora or MAC?

Sephora because I have more variety of course.

-Do you have a MAC Pro-card?

No. We don't have a MAC in my town but I sure would have if we had it..

-What makeup tools do you use in make up application?

Eyelash curler, always and all my brushes. No applicator thought.

-Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes?

Yes, always because I like to emphasize my eyes. I use the Artdeco base. It's amazing!

-For the face?

No not really, I feel the make- up foundation is enough for me.

-What is your favorite eyeshadow (color or shade)?

I do not want to give any preference upon my eyeshadows. I love them all as much.

-Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?

Pencil eyeliner. I am using it a lot lately. Because it's so easy to apply and looks effortlessly classy.

-How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?

Never.

-What do you think of pigment eyeshadows?

Like them but they're messy.

-Do you use mineral makeup?

Sometimes.

-What is your favorite lipstick?

I was thinking about this, this morning! I thought to myself "I love you so much L'Oréal Paris "Intense Plum" 374" :)

-How about lipgloss?

I don't like it as much as lipsticks..

-What is your favorite blush to use?

Artdeco Dita von Teese blush. Because the package looks amazing and the product works wonders.

-Do you buy your makeup on ebay?

No, I never had the idea..

-Do you like drugstore makeup?

Most of it yes, I only buy High End products when I am really sure of it and there is no other dube to it or someone buys it for me :)

-Do you go to CCO's? (cosmetic company outlets)

I've never seen one in person.

-Did you ever consider taking make-up classes?

Sometimes, yes. Maybe I will when I finish school one day. It'll be exciting!

-Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?

Not at all. Haha I think if I use it, then I'll use it right.

-Name a makeup crime that you hate?

Doing something weird with your eyebrows and then forget to put mascara on. Eff that looks scary. Or my sisters teacher yesterday. Just a lipstick that was not in her colour and nothing else.

-Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick,eyeshadow) or neutral ones?

colourful, because I have darker skin and brown eyes. To get an effect that is noticeable. But then again on the other hand people notice even the slightest nudes on me because it's a difference to my usual self.

-Which celebrity always has great make up?

Uff there are so many but I really do like Heidi Klums make-up!

-If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item,what would you use?

My L'Oréal Manga mascara.

-Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?

Yes I do, I give myself a make- up free day every Saturday and Sunday. To give my skin a break after a dressy week.

-Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?

Tired but I would be presentable. hah

-In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line?

Catrice and Artdeco.

Catrice because they make really great nail polishes and lipstick and it's in a fantastic price range.

Artdeco because even though it's high street they always have good quality. You know that whenever you buy something it's good stuff.

-What do you think of Makeup??

It's a good think if you want to enhance your best features, not cover something up and hide behind a mask. I love it and it's my way of expressing as well as embracing.

This was a huge amount of questions but now I can calmly say that I am not such a make-up freak as I could be! I am right in the middle not obsessing but having fun with it.

I had a lot of fun and found out a good amount of things about me as well.

TAG - Would You Rather.. ?

Hello everyone!

I am sorry I haven't been writing but I am in Portugal and didn't take my Mac with me and it took me until now to get my Password as I do not Need it.

Anyways I got some Inspiration whilst being over here and found a couple of Tags I wanted to to and to start of I am going to answer the 14 Question following for you and I wish you a lot of fun reading!

Would you rather lose all of your Mascaras, Eyeliners, lip products or loose all of you eyeproducts ?

I would rather lose all of my pallettes and eyeshadows because without my Mascara I'd be lost as I believe that the Mascara makes a finish and the eye itself so I wouldn't need anything else. Also if I had Eyeliners and lipsticks I would always have a make up to go to.

Would you rather chop off all your hair or not cut it at all again?

I think I am going to go with chopping off my hair. I really hope I have a wonderful head shape and also with sick looking hair I wouldn't like myself and feel like Tarzan all the time.

Would you rather have a coral or a pink cheek?

Pink. Because I am a fancy pantsy princess. :)

If you had a 1000 bucks, would you rather buy Makeup or clothes?

Always clothes. I am a Fashion Person, I could spend all day just doing something with my clothes and if they were People, I would nurse, feed and care for them. This is how big my love for Fashion is, it goes beyond self- care.

Would you rather apply lipstick as Eyeliner, or Eyeliner as lipstick?

This is quite a weird question but I think I would pull off a big ass red Eyeliner instead of a black mongo lip.. (not being racist here!)

Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?

Only shop at Sephora. You will find everything there as well as high end brands. Even though I really like MAC but in Terms of being able to chose more, Sephora would be my choice.

Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?

For the rest of my life I would only rather use one eyeshadow because I have much more fun doing m eye make up than applying lipstick.

Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?

I'd rather freeze than sweet so summer clothes in winter. But actually I like winter clothes rather than summer clothes. Anyways I go with summer clothes in winter because someone told me before you freeze to death you get really hot and then die- so I will die still being warm.

Well, this is depressing.

Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?

Dark, they make my nails and fingers look longer.

Would you rather give up your favourie lip product or your favourite eye product?

We had this question before. I will always chose eye before lip. I would much rather give up my favourite lip üroduct before anyones touches my eye products.

Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun

I would rather wear my hair in a messy bun as I do more often than in a ponytail. Because if I want my hair up it's because it annoys me and then I wouldn't want half of it still hanging down in my face.

Would you rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use Lipgloss?

Never use Lipgloss. Bam because I will still be able to use lipsticks and balms. :D

Would your rather shave your eyebrows and have non at all or sharpie them in everyday?

This is a Topic for itself because one can do everything wrong with their eyebrows. I might as well shave them all off so I wouldn't have to care about that for once.

Would you rather live without Makeup or nail polish?

Uhh does make up include foundation etc? I think so. I really do not know. I want pretty nails all the time but also don't want to scare People and myself. Maybe go without nail polish even though I don't like it but I being alone because I chose being ugly over nails.. I don't think so.

Hell Yeah- White Nail Polish

Yet Another Make- up Haul

Yes, I am a shoppaholic and my name is Cynthia.

I just couldn't resist and also I needed some of the items bought.

Starting with nail polish. I got a bit too excited by the limited and new edition from manhattan. Currently I am wearing the one on the right. It called "Liquid Copper" number 003 from the "Glowing Goddess" edition. And it looks like copper, so lovely, I am literally in love with it. I was so easy to put on, didn't fade or anything. I also only needed one layer. It's supposed to be long-lasting but it's always different with Manhattan so I don't know yet but I can say that after 24 hours things are still looking really good!

The metallic purple nail polish on the left is also a limited edition. It's called "Dusk- Dancer" and I bought it because I believe metallic nails will be huge in the fall.. Also it's not a colour I have that much, actually only in pastel.

Both bottles were 4 Euros. I will put the link at the bottom of this post.

But as a review- I really do like Manhattan nail polishes they do have something, aren't that expensive and I am up to date with them. I believe my first ever nail polish came from Manhattan and even though many people say the brand is bad, i don't think so, it has its bad products but also many good ones as every company. So for the money- top.

Yes and now this on. I won't start explaining myself out of here. Or actually. I needed mascara. And it started that I bought the Miss Manga mega volume mascara from L'ORÉAL but accidentally trapped the blue on which I just recognized as I put it on and had full on blue lashes.. yea well so I went back yesterday and bought the black on as well. I haven't tried them yet but I will write a review once I have a valid opinion. They weren't that cheap but maybe I just think so because I get a little bit stingy with my money when it comes to mascara.. I think it was around 10 Euros, I didn't look at the price as a protection that I don't back out of the plan.

Also I needed to pick up a new waterproof mascara. And now believe me when I tell you, this on is really good. It's the Manhattan "Volcano Explosive Volume" mascara in waterproof. I was a professional swimmer for 10 years in my life so I was trying loads of different waterproof make-up items and I have found the best products over the years.

This mascara ( it's the blue one) last all day with a spectacular volume for a mascara that needed to work for 4-5 hours in chloric water every day a week. It lasted through all the training sessions in water, against sweat, etc. So tho is my trust product number one right here when things go to waterproof.

Next item, the long- lasting "Eyemazing Eyeshadow Cream" number 2 called "Bronzeluxe". It's the same colour as the nail polish above and as I tried it on I was amazed. I have all the other eyeshadow creams from Manhattan from the previous collection and was happy with them so I thought I just take this on as well, no regrets. I like to put it on my upper eyelid as well as my lover lashes and put mascara on it- ready. It looks natural and somehow like you've done something- good with your face. Goddish. Easy make-up and quickly done look. If you've got a lighter skin tone I'd say buy the golden one because bronze on light faces can make one look like drug addict if used wrong..

This Cream cost about 4 Euros as well.

And last but not least I the eyeliner pens. For 3 Euros each I thought I might as well take both of them.. They are also from the "Glowing Goddess" Collection.

As you can see they are double ended.

The brown orange one is number 01 "sunset- sparkle" and the green golden one number 02 " bronze beauty"

the golden and orange endings are both fairly creamy which is good. They are about the right amount of colour, they go wonderfully with the eyeshadow creams. The green as well as brown endings are slightly harder I guess to create some sharper edges around the eyes. But still they all work fine. Nothing special, so if you want a make- up look that goes together from colours you might as well buy the collection all together.
