Performance Art "Water The Earth"

Hello Everyone!

We have this new, very young art teacher and she started with the always untouched topic and kind of art school always leaves out, no matter how interesting.

Performance art

maybe because it's strange with with intentions and outcomes of the product because it is never that obvious and rather random, disgusting or weird to the un- taught viewer.

But once you learn about it, get the thought and interpret it in your own way it's beautiful, intelligent and magical.

we were left with the task to make our own performance with very little material. Before that though we had another task, to get the feeling of raising awareness in the first place and viewing people in their daily life.

So first step, we sat in a café and looked around. There was a woman who looked at her phone typing a message 30 minutes straight, not recognizing the world around her. She randomly stood there, not looking up once. Another woman ate her lunch in a damn hurry as if her life depended on it. Two men had their midday coffee and a lovely conversation, once in a while they met someone they knew who indulged for a couple of minutes. They seemed very happy.

Once woman came in the café transporting her coffee in the right hand and her spoon in her mouth. I thought to myself why not just have the spoon in the left hand if not in the coffee? Moments later I discovered that she did not have a left arm anymore.

It's moments like that, people either enjoying their life or being inside their head (which is more often the fact, sad but true) We don't even see what is happening around us, we are ignorant and only look after ourselves.

Second task was having a picnic in the middle of the weekly market place. That was fun. And we felt pretty funny. True fact we got some random looks but more than one person didn't see us as well.

Opening the eyes of our humanity because there is no green anymore and some people try to save our earth but water stones because they don't know where to start, don't have any other chance because we already turned every green in to sad, tryst grey.

My Summer Time Morning Routine + Update: What Is In My Bag?

Hello Everyone!

I thought it would be fun to just continue to walk you through all my routines such as mornings, night time, beauty and daily routines as I haven't done this kind of posts yet. They will be updated by each season and maybe divided into school/ holiday.

Starting with summer now I'll show you what I do in my mornings until 11 am plus I will do an update on what actually is in my bag one year later.

So let's get started. My morning are created to save as much time as possible. I prepare a lot in the evenings so I'd be able to hope out and go if I slept in. Which happens a lot.

First thing I need is coffee. I need it to become a human. A second one to start my brain and a third to be charged 100 %. I'll have my third one on the go, the second one while I get ready but for the first one I'll take my ten minutes in bed to drink it. No matter what! Because I think it's just the best thing in the world when I can have my morning coffee and a fag. This just makes my day. :) Whilst I do that I'll check my social morning papers like Facebook, Instagram and Tumblr. Now on the holidays this can take up. I like to spend the whole morning in bed doing so and write my blog, write, surf the internet, read.

After that I eventually do get up and brush my teeth. I don't think I have to say that much about this.

My morning shower follows right after. Currently I am using the ISANA oil shower cream which smells heavenly fruity. Well it says it's from melon and pear and I really like it for the summer.

Now very important. Even when there is no time left I wash my face. Very quickly but I do. I am just using up the Rival de Loop clean & care cleansing water which is very good as there is no alcohol in it. It get's all the dirt from the night of. Then I will moisture my face as well with the Love me Green organic moisturizer which I reviewed here.

And then we go on over to the make- up part. I use the Maybellene Fit Me foundation in 120 as well as the fitting powder and concealer. After I put that on I use the Artdeco bronzer to contour and shining highlighter and the German branded rough from Alterra which I reviewed here as well. For that I will use the my brushes which are all from Artdeco.

I like to make my eyes look stronger so I'll use the Artdeco base that I reviewed here and some eyeshadow. Today I also used liquid eyeliner and my L'oréal Manga mascara.

And this is all it.

After I got my face done I'll get dressed. I pick my outfits just the night before so I don't need to think that much right then and there especially because there might be too little time left at this point.

Then I'll run in the kitchen, get my foo which also is prepared if it is a school- / weekday and..

... recheck if I have everything that I will need packed properly in my bag and I am out!

This is all I do in the morning. It kind of sounds like a lot but it really isn't. If everything goes smooth it only takes me 20 minutes max but if I have time I can stretch the whole routine up to an hour as well.

What's in my bag?

Now I thought when I am at it I can also do a little update to what is currently in my bag which also would include my summer must haves. So let's have a look!

So this is my current favorite bag. I have fallen in big love with white this summer. I think it symbols a clean slate to me, something new, something wonderful.

The bag is from H&M

This is my most important item in my life. my filofax. Literally my life is in there and I need it with me at all times. I'd be seriously lost without it.

I think last time I also had the most recent copies of those magazines in my bag as well. The German Grazia and Cosmopolitan. These are the only magazines I do read.

Now it gets messy. All the little things that always get lost in the bag. Starting at the top I have my phone (iPhone 6), a package of fags and my lighters.my wallet form Mango. The keys to my apartment and my car, two pens, a package of gum (actually very important I am addicted to them.) My Sunglasses including the case, it's from Mango as well and my favorite one. Very much underneath everything is my iPad and last but not least there is my lithe make up bag.

I even dared to look in the make up bag which I am raping for something not so much to do with beauty. I have some papers in them just in case I want to write something important down. I then have my papers for my car in the try thingy and another tiny tiny wallet where my license are in. I then found my Manhattan lipgloss and a lip balm from baby lips :)

And there it is. You little MF I was looking for you my entire year of school every time I needed you. Now where do I find this? In the bag I am using in my holidays. Great.

Alright, I think my bag is very clean, I am actually keeping track of it at all times packing and unpacking, changing them almost daily. But I like having everything I need neat and clean.

My Summer Holiday To Do List

Hello Everyone!

I made it! I made it. Finally they have come, my summer holidays. I have been looking forward to them so badly and had this list prepared for weeks now. I am so excited to show it to you as I am so unbelievably pumped to just start doing all those things.

What's the reason of this list?

I want to get a healthier mind. I find I have been focused to much and obsessively on the wrong things and just got stacked in a lifestyle that is not good for me or anyone. This list allows me to do all the things I am passionate about and I know that I will enjoy doing. Those things will make me find my inner peace and balance so I can start freshly and positively into the next school year.

The List

I want to read all the books I have ordered in the last couple of month
I want to start drawing again --> make a painting map out of them for my uni application
I want to finish my vegan cook book
I want to do my workout routine every day properly now (sunny days skating; yoga on rainy days)
I want to pay full on attention on my blog and be a "full time blogger"
I want to be more social and meet my friends and family members like my dad and the other grandparents
I want to do some summer school. It's my final year and I want to kick asses.
I want to work as much as I can to save money for the next year and also buy some things from my "Wanted- list"
I want to write an application for a dual uni course and send them off

Updates

Of course there will be updates. I will write daily on my tumblr how my day has been and what I have been up that day including a daily to do list (as I love and need them in my life).

Advice on Moving Houses For Students + House Tour + Life Update

Hello Everyone!

As you might know or not I moved. It wasn't planned at all. I thought about moving out for a really long time but something stopped me all the time. I also made moving out my new years resolution for 2015. Actually I already have 3 out of 5 of my resolutions done for this year which I am very proud of. Anyways, something always stopped me or came in between so moving out, being my own person became harder each time I was about to.

So one night I was looking for apartments again and found the one I live in now and two others. I thought to myself that there is no harm in looking. Also the situation in my family is really not great at the moment which also required me to get out there soon. I went and looked at all the places and decided out of the feeling my belly told me that now it was time.

In the following post I want to give you some personal advice of my move and how I did it. Wether it was smart or not, I did it, I survived and so far it's going good. I just think there are many people out there that move out the first time everyday and just like me google and don't find fitting answers. So here is my personal advice. Have fun.

1. Look for apartments

I looked by myself as I did not want to throw out money for real-estate agents. I went on local site that offer single room apartments and shared apartments and so on. I knew that I did not want to be alone and considered a shared apartment from the start. It is usual over here for students to live together and share a home as it's cheaper in many ways for everyone and you can afford better places with that.

2. Look at the places

I made up appointments with all of the places I found and visited them one after another. This went down very quickly. I was shown my room, the living room, kitchen and bath. Pretty much all the rooms for me to use as well.
You get to see everything that is important but also it's the time to ask the important questions like rent, how do you live together (of its a shared apartment like mine), how is the dynamic within the roommates, how is the water, heat, are you allowed to bring pets, paint on you walls, insurance, wifi, etc. It's really best to write it all down so you will need to bring a pen and piece of paper as well!

3. Good planning

As I am I got home and made up an excel writing all the information I got down for each place I visited to be able to compare them. I calculated my money so I was able to see if I could afford the place and my living expenses.
In the end I listened to what my belly told me and went with the place I immediately felt comfortable with, which also was the first one I found and saw.

4. Organize

Now this was the hardest for me. Although I really love getting organized and everything I really had only one week to get this baby delivered. I needed to get boxes first which I got from a friend thank god. In the end I ended up throwing my closet in the boxes without even thinking.

What you should do though is take measurements to know which furniture you are going to take with you. See what you really need in your new place. It's a good opportunity to throw out the old stuff that takes up to much space. To make room for new things.
A good thing to do is to label the boxes with things you want to take with you, things to store an things to throw away.

5. Moving

When the moving day finally arrives you need to know if you want to have help from a moving company which you will need to order first. If you want to do so I recommend to compare different companies to see what they will help you with and for how long for what price. There are humongeous differences.
For me everything was a bit too expensive so I was being my own independent woman and got the help of two friends that helped me getting the furniture and boxes from A to B.
It was a hard 4 hours all together but knowing I pretty much did it all myself made it even more special and I have a great story to tell my grandchildren.

6. Make everything new and comfy

Once the hardest step was done I got to do the fun stuff, for me at least. Which was unpacking. I was able to make everything new and "better" again. Make my self comfortable in the new home I live in now and this is what I enjoyed most so far on this little journey.

7. Get new routines

This last step I am yet to experience. Within the next couple of weeks in my holiday I want to buy some more home supplies in august and figure out who I am now. I do have new routines which I will post about as well so keep posted.

In this step you just get new experiences, figure out how your new life will or could look like. This is something most people also struggle with the first time around but I am embracing it as I see this decision as one of the best things I could have done this year.

Life Update

Within the last year my life has changed quite a lot. In a very positive way though. Although I am still in a not so bombastic place I am not dying anymore and writing this blog has helped me a lot in my journey which is what I was hoping for.

Anyway, last year I didn't know myself at all. I didn't know what I liked, wanted to do, I was only focused on school and that was my hobby. Now I am a passionate vegan, my hobbies include fashion, reading, planning and organizing, spending time with my friends, sister and grandparent, I do know who my true friends are and whom I can always count on. I enjoy painting and I love my pets ! All those things I could not count as a part of my life last year. They were there but I wasn't living them or life in general.

But most importantly and what I am most proud of is my apartment. Last year I was scared to death to be independent, be and adult. I wanted to be a child forever, to be looked after. But now since risking this step I couldn't love it more. I really enjoy it and I got so much happier and I transformed a lot in my mind and way of thinking.
