Vegan Apple Pie (Crumble) Recipe
23:00Hello Everyone
What is better than a homemade apple pie during the first very cold octobery, autumny days, when the leaves falling down in various colours and hot chocolate smell flies in the air.
Nothing really, this is why I decided to share my improvised homemade vegan apple pie with you. After making this I even realized for people that do not consume nuts the crust is optional and if you left the nut crust out it'd be an apple pie crumble. So whatever you chose to make, it's going to be delicious and great. Have fun baking guys!
Ingredience:
Note! I didn't measure anything in the recipe because if I invent recipes myself I kind of throw things together, eye measure and see how it turns out.
For the Pie
500- 700g of nuts and raisons and some dates
500g apples (without skin and chopped)
3 tbsp of brown sugar
cinnamon
splash of lemon juice
For the crumbles:
3-4 tbsp of vegan butter
100g of vegan marzipan
about a cup of almond flour
3/4of a cup of sugar
Step One: Put all the nuts and dates in a food processor and mix on high speed for about 3-5 minutes until they are all nicely combined.
Step Two: Whilst mixing your nuts and raisons you peel and chop your apples, put them in a bowl and mix with brown suer, lemon juice and cinnamon. Mix that well also.
Step Three: After this is done and your nut mixture and poles look similar to this you take a 9'' baking shed and for the crumble line it with baking paper!
Press the nut crust in the sheet that it fills out all the corners as well
Now put the apples on top and press them a bit in the crust. Now the healthy version of the pie would the ready as all of this parts are no bake and it literally took me about 12 minutes in total.
Now for your crumble this is all your need with the measurement from above. The butter must be melted!
Step Four
You put all your ingredients in a bowl like in the pic beneath on the right and mix it with a hand mixer until its all crumbly like the photo on the left.
Step Five
Put all the crumbles evenly on the pie and now turn on your often on 160 degrees celsius pr 350 degrees Fahrenheit. And let it bake for 30 minutes until the pie looks golden
This is how your pie looks like when it's finished and it was so delicious let me tell you!! So good.
I really hope you will try it, enjoy it reading a nice book with a tea or hot chocolate and have a nice time!
